Inspirating Gen-Z into the AI world

I would am in the Gen-z period so as the people of whom we are in the same age, could you please help me understand why this generation should focus and have interest on AI

Hi FredG1,

It is good to know that you are interested in focusing on Artificial Intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence is going to be a good part of our future. Already people with immense scientific knowledge have said that AI is going to be like electricity. Its going to be that ubiquitious in our lives.

If you also want to be part of the immense possibility that AI holds I would suggest you try to learn programming languages like Python or R so that you would not be left behind in the journey.

Electricity, hhhhh it now makes the thing more and more interesting, i don’t know, but saying AI would be like electricity, i fill its not just a SKILL to learn but a basic need for everyone who is heading into the next generation to have

@FredG1 any one person can only have so many thoughts in their mind at once, but somehow AI is more like a corpus, or a plant with not just one but a thousand eyes. Does that mean it is ‘perfect’ no, of course not. It is though a skill to learn because fear is when you do not understand a system’s imperfections yet feel compelled by them, and AI still has a lot of imperfections.

Does that mean we shouldn’t be worried with AI? Yet the world is now becoming AI led

@FredG1 in my mind it doesn’t make sense to talk about ‘AI’ generally-- The first thing I want to know is what model are you using and what is your ‘context’. Even with multi-modal-models I don’t think we have something perfect, but I think this is something really important for the practioner to ask: i.e. is this a CNN, an RNN, an LLM, a diffusion model, etc.

It is important to understand what is going on ‘under the hood’.
just IMHO.
