I’m looking to pivot my career from Call Center Management to a more technology and SME area for my future. My original path started over 18 years ago on the phone and have been through or overseen about everything department possible. I have also built BPO’s and/or managed them worldwide, worked with many CCaas/SaaS providers for implementation and consulted. I recently did a contract doing some SME and BA III work which has rapidly changed my approach. I have jumped headfirst into AI and automation certificates while going to back to school for general IT beginner courses so I have a better understanding of the basics rather than high level. Anyone who has made this move or is in the other areas I’m looking to pivot to I would love advice on the education side and also the work/career side. What is a good area or position that I can gain further working knowledge as I learn instead of learning then switching. I’m sure that book I just wrote had some rambling. If any articulation is needed please reach out but I always am open to and love critique or advice.
