Is unsupervised learning used in Supervised learning

As an example, using the graph of age (y axis) and tumor size on the x axis.
Is the unsupervised learning help set the curve for whether the tumor is benign or malignant?

In your example, do you have a label for your data (ie. is there a column for benign or malignant)?

If your model is using that label to compute the loss, then it is a supervised learning model. If there is no label or your model is not using that label, then it is an unsupervised learning model.

Note that, for unsupervised learning, the model doesn’t necessarily give you whether a given data point is benign or malignant. It can tell you whether that data point is similar to another data point, but you will have to examine the model to see if the model has properly separated the data points into benign and malignant grouups.
