Jazz midi is wonderful

Adorable Jazz Midi I created from the Deep Learning Lab is here

Wow I love it. It definitely sounds a bit like a video game or techno or something. Definitely has that Jazz connections and improvisation element. I love this. And the music is beautiful.

These labs are so much fun, too, and I am learning so much. I think they will be very helpful. There is a lot to take in, but it is not too much. Well, mostly. I am pulling a lot of all nighters and this is starting to take a bit of an emotional toll, but it is very much worth it. I started with the Machine Learning class and followed with the Deep Learning class in early December, so this is definitely my record longest semester ever. And I am teaching too! (I’m a physics and calculus tutor, remote part time). Thanks for all the help everyone. And please enjoy this beautiful music that I totally cannot claim credit for, but that I did enjoy learning how to implement!

In trying to replicate the Jazz Improvisation labs locally on my Mac, I found it difficult (virtually impossible) to find a good python channel for packages such as “music21”. Is there a listing of package sources for the labs? I’ve occasionally had this problem in other labs. Thank you.

Unless the lab workspace comes with requirements.txt, please use pip list and pip show commands within the remote environment to resolve package versions.
