I came across a great talk by futurist Sinead Bovell, founder of WAYE (Weekly Advice for Young Entrepreneurs).
Her YouTube talk is titled:
“Job Titles Are Going Away With AI. These 7 Skills Will Replace Them.”

She breaks down the human skills that stay relevant no matter how fast AI reshapes the job market. I thought it was especially useful for students and early‑career learners here.
Here are the seven skills she highlights:
1. AI Literacy
Understanding what AI can do, what it can’t, and how to use it responsibly.
2. Critical Thinking
AI generates answers. Humans evaluate them.
3. Judgment
Making decisions when information is incomplete or ambiguous.
4. Communication
Clear writing, clear prompts, clear thinking.
5. Being Easy to Work With
Low‑ego collaboration, reliability, and emotional intelligence.
6. Learning
Treating learning as a continuous habit, not a phase.
7. Adaptability
Comfort with change and the ability to pivot when needed.
Why I’m sharing this
These skills line up closely with what many of us are already practicing while learning AI. They’re also the skills that transfer across roles, industries, and tools — even as job titles evolve.
For me personally, having an AI learning partner has helped me stay focused and explain concepts more clearly. It’s been a useful way to practice several of these skills in real time.
