Hello everyone! I’m excited to be part of this Deep Learning Specialization. My background is in Data Science – I have a Bachelor’s degree in the field and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Data Science and Analytics. I’m a Cloud Data Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS), and I also work at a Machine Learning startup focused on SaaS software, primarily in the area of ethical data science monitoring. While I have a solid foundation in data science and machine learning, I’m eager to deepen my knowledge specifically in deep learning and explore its applications in areas like computer vision, autonomous vehicles, and NLP. I’m looking forward to learning the intricacies of neural networks, gaining practical experience in building and deploying deep learning models for these applications, and connecting with all of you to discuss the latest advancements in the field. I’m particularly interested in the intersection of these areas – for instance, using NLP to enhance computer vision for better scene understanding in autonomous driving scenarios. I’m keen to learn from both the instructors and my fellow learners.
