Just Hi for my introduction

Hello everyone! I’m Ahmed Aemamra, and I’m excited to join this course on Machine Learning by Andrew Ng.
I’m new to AI but have over 25 years of experience as a team leader and expert in telecoms, specifically in mobile radio networks (2G/3G/4G/5G). I hold a PhD in Telecoms, specializing in microwaves and electromagnetics. Over the years, I’ve worked with leading companies like Ericsson, Nokia, and Huawei, as well as many telecom operators giants like Verizon/Orange/Etisalat and others globally.

Since 2000, I’ve been working as a freelance consultant, and recently took a break to focus on AI and machine learning with Python. My goal is to automate tasks and provide AI-driven solutions to improve network design, rollout, optimization, and call trace analysis in telecoms. Ultimately, I aim to enhance the Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) for mobile radio networks worldwide.

As a Franco-Moroccan, I also plan to eventually establish a training center to teach AI applications in telecoms and other sectors like agriculture, banking security, water management,.

I hope to not only learn the fundamentals of machine learning but also how to apply these techniques to network optimization and automating telecom operations and to the different sectors. I’m particularly interested in understanding regression, classification, and neural networks, which are key to improving the performance of telecom systems. I also look forward to engaging with this community and learning from each other’s experiences.

I’m excited to be part of this course and am looking forward to collaborating and exchanging ideas with all of you. Please feel free to reach out if you want to discuss telecom applications or machine learning topics!
