Lake of ethics

As you have crossed the lake of ethics and philosophy, leaving behind material abundance, you now stand on the opposite shore. If you remember the profound reflections you experienced while traversing the lake—your contemplation of human nature, the universal good that all humanity should strive for, and the solitude and fear you endured—those on the other shore will likely respect you.

However, if you forget the emotions you encountered on the lake, the insights into human nature, and the truths about the greater good, you will be seen merely as a fortunate stranger who happened to make it across.

Remember this: the wisdom and understanding you gained, along with the emotions you felt, define who you are. These experiences are not just yours to cherish but to share and embody in the new land you have reached. If you hold onto those insights and put them into practice, you won’t merely be a “lucky outsider.” Instead, you will become a “bridge of wisdom,” a guiding light for those on the opposite shore. May your story illuminate their path and inspire new beginnings.

good stuff.
