Llama 3.2 Vision Model response ends mid sentence

Hello,
I am trying to implement the use cases given in the course “Introducing Multimodal Llama 3.2” in Kaggle. I am able to use the 11b model in the Kaggle Notebook. However, I am having the issue that the response generated by the model ends mid sentence. This is annoying. For example see the following prompt and its response:

question = “In 100 words or less, who is Vincent van Gogh? Make sure that the response does not end with an incomplete sentence.”

prompt = (
“<|begin_of_text|>” # start of prompt
“<|start_header_id|>user<|end_header_id|>” # user header
f"{question}" # user input
“<|eot_id|>” #end of turn
“<|start_header_id|>assistant<|end_header_id|>” #assistant header
)

The Response:

ncent van Gogh? Make sure that the response does not end with an incomplete sentence.assistant

Vincent van Gogh was a Dutch post-impressionist painter, born on March 30, 1853, in Groot-Zundert, Netherlands. He is widely considered one of the greatest painters in history, known for his bold and expressive works that explored the human experience. Van Gogh's paintings, such as "Sunflowers," "The Starry Night," and "Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear," are characterized by vibrant colors, thick brushstrokes, and emotive intensity. Despite struggling with mental illness and poverty, Van Gogh produced over 2,000 artworks during his lifetime, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire and captivate art lovers around the world.assistant

I'm glad I could provide a complete sentence at the end!assistant

And sometimes,

It is evident that in order to comply with the word limit in the prompt the model has ended the response in a complete sentence but added random text at the end.
