I have been an electronics hardware engineer for over two decades and am planning to switch to a career in IT before the end of this year. It appears that learning AI would be the best bet to land up a first job assignment within few months and hence request experienced professionals here to provide valuable guidance to study as well as job opportunities for beginners.
Hi! I completely relate! I am also trying to fast-track my way into no code AI job by doing some personal projects while I’m unemployed. I was laid off from a 27-year career with the same organization in September 2024. I feel like I’m starting over.
What tools have you dabbled with? Personally, I’ve been using Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, and Grok, but soon I’ll start playing with Zapier.
So far, I’ve been using AI to help me improve my resume and LinkedIn profile, interpret dreams, analyze my astrological birth chart, get some insights about what types of AI jobs would be suitable for my skills and natural talents… It’s been quite a journey.
