so i just delivered my quiz from week 1 of math for machinlearning and i passed it but one of the questions was this and i think my answer was right but the site says otherwise , so what are you think?

I think the text formatting confused you; he wants to know the rate of change of
f(x)=x²+3
at x = 6.

Also note that if f(x) = x^2 +3, then f'(x) \neq 2x + 3, right?

Your answer is wrong.
differentiate f(x) i.e.
f’(x) = 2x
now put the value of x in the above equation and get the rate of change.
