Exciting news: I’m officially starting my data analysis/AI journey with the Principles of Data Analysis course on Coursera.
I’m Fadi from Syria, transitioning from operations/communications where I had some initial exposure to data. My current goal is to deepen my skills, especially in data visualization.

In terms of tips, I’d definitely recommend practicing what you learn using real datasets—Kaggle is a fantastic place to start for that. Since you’re particularly interested in data visualization, you might want to check out Tableau Public, which is a great platform to hone your skills and share your work.
Also, if you’re looking to deepen your knowledge in a structured way, the DeepLearning.AI Data Analytics Professional Certificate on Coursera is a solid option. It’s designed to take you from beginner to proficient, with lots of hands-on projects along the way.

I’m currently taking the Data Analytics Foundations course on Coursera, starting from today. I’m really enjoying the way the content is presented, especially the slides used by Sean Barnes — they are clear and very well-structured.
I was wondering if there’s any way to access or download the presentation slides used in the videos for further review and note-taking.

Lecture slides usually appear in the “Resources” topic for a course (listed in the “Course Q&A” topic in the left-side menu of your browser).
If it’s a new course, it typically takes a couple of weeks for the slides to be posted.
