OpenAI API credits have run out!

I have been into prompt engg on and off since about 2 years and have exhausted my OpenAI API allowance. I’m not funded by any companies and want to experiment for my own learning. Are there any free developer credits I can request for or if I have to pay for it what is the recommended rate plan for individual developer access ?
