Problem in Lab Python for AI Module 3 Lesson 7

The code in Line 2 of the Lab for this lesson is from a prior lesson. It does not match the code detailed in the Video. I’ve cleared the kernel. I’ve reloaded the Lab and I’ve followed the “go back to prior version.” None of that works. We’re supposed to be reading a csv file but the code is for conversion of temoeratures.

can you please mention the course and week assignment you are working as you have selected ai discussion.

Also if possible share a screenshot of the output you are getting with the expected output without sharing any part of the code as it is against community guidelines.

if encountering error, then share screenshot of the error.

Thanks, Deepti. The course is Python for AI. The issue is in Module 3 Lesson 7. Without sharing the code I think I can only say that the code in Line 2 of the notebook for that lesson actually belongs in a prior lesson. The code that should be there defines a function to read csv files. The code that is actually there converts temperatures from fahrenheit to celsius.

okay but if does the code is throwing any error?

I see you explained that the video explained a different version of code to read CSV file, so that’s why you are not able to get the code? Am I getting your query correctly?

Thanks. The code in the notebook is misplaced. It’s the wrong code for the lesson. The code on the following lines that depends on this code will not work.

can you click on my name and then message me the code you’re having issue with(please share a screenshot)

I do not see a course by that exact name. Can you be more specific? Perhaps post a link to the course home page.

Thanks!

I think it’s AI Python for Beginners

Hi @chucklightner,

Since the code you are referring to is from a lesson notebook, you can share it in the form.

You are not allowed to share the code of graded exercises. Other than that, you can share any piece of code from anywhere, even from the assignment (as long as it is not a graded exercise)

So please share a screenshot of the code(s) you are referring to.

Thanks,
Mubsi
