Repo for the python dependencies (e.g., gc_utils)

Hello - I took the course about 10 months ago. I have my jupyter notebooks stored locally. Would it be possible to host the custom python packages used to support the exercises? For instance, gc_utils. The tests aren’t necessary to review. It would also enable a deeper dive into my understanding after a while of being introduced to the material the first time.

Please refer to the Code of Conduct, especially the sections on integrity and intellectual property:

Here is one applicable extract from the Integrity area:

Note that the key areas involve:

  • solutions to the assignments
  • commercial use
  • crediting DL.AI for all other materials

I’m not sure this applies. The instructions in the course invites us to download the jupyter notebook environment which would have included these packages. I’m also someone who licensed the material when I took the series of the course of a couple of months. Finally, I don’t plan on distributing it for commercial purposes.

Unfortunately there is no way to access the files once you are no longer enrolled in the course. At the point that you downloaded the notebook, the right thing to have done would have been to capture the complete tree of files, as described on this FAQ Topic. Sorry, but it’s not possible to access those “ex post facto”.

Thank you. I have re-enrolled. Hopefully I’ll be able to access the meta accordingly.

I’m glad to hear that you were willing and able to re-enroll. I had heard from some students in the past that, having completed the course previously, it wouldn’t let them re-enroll.

Actually – you seem to be right. I thought that by paying 49/month I would get access. That might not be the case. Argh.
