I encountered an error while attempting to generate a response using the meta-llama/Meta-Llama-3.1-8B-Instruct-Turbo model via the Together API.
The request fails with the following error:
InvalidRequestError: Error code: 400
"Unable to access non-serverless model meta-llama/Meta-Llama-3.1-8B-Instruct-Turbo.
Please visit https://api.together.ai/models/meta-llama/Meta-Llama-3.1-8B-Instruct-Turbo
to create and start a new dedicated endpoint for the model."
This error was recently reported and addressed yesterday by staff.
So to get updated notebook kindly refresh, reboot, get the latest version of notebook to be able to work on updated notebook.
Regards
Dr. Deepti
I got the latest version, refreshed the notebook many times, still the issue persists.
Hi!
Could you please try deleting the utils.py file and get the latest version of the notebook?

I deleted the utils.py and restore the original version, I got those errors, I used to get them also even without deleting the utils.py
@Mohammed_HAJJARI
You have selected Coursera platform but looks like you are doing course on dlai platform. please notice in your screenshot the environment isn’t getting updated but just your browser page must be getting refreshed.
please refer this screenshot
@Deepti_Prasad @lucas.coutinho I am also continuing to get this error even after I have deleted the notebook and restored original version using the 3 dots. Please help !
@Utkarsh_Shrivastava can you please also delete the utils.py file and restore it to the original version again?
I tried that. Deleted the utils.py file, then clicked on the 3 dots and then clicked “Restore Original Version“. A new notebook gets loaded, but the issue still persists.
Can you try restarting your kernel and running it again? If this do not work, please send me here the content of your utils.py.
I did all of that, and nothing seem to work.
@Deepti_Prasad @lucas.coutinho the errors shown in the bottom right are displayed after restoring the original version!
Hello @Utkarsh_Shrivastava do you get errors when restoring the original version?
- Delete your cache and browsing history of the browser you are working on.
- re-login in dlai website
- Deleted all the files
- Click on 3 dors, restore original version.
Try this approach please.
@Mohammed_HAJJARI many learners have responded with resolution of issue just now. But supposedly the work environment update with every learner differs, and probably that’s why the updated utils.py file isn’t getting updated in your’s and Utkarsh’s lab environment.
Unfortunately I did all of that and I still get error restoring the original version. with warnings and errors at the bottom left as shown in the attached image

probably try after sometime.
By then share your lab id details with lucas through personal DM and share your utils.py file in the same DM conversation @Mohammed_HAJJARI
Hey all, could you try restoring it again to the origina version? I rebuilt the lab image and now the update should be available.
