Simplification of logg loss function

hi,

how did we simplify the last part of first equation into 3(1-p)^2(-1)? And the other steps as well.

@avol first welcome to the community.
Secondly as you know first split and use the product rule and then find the derivative of the first part p^7 to 7p^6 and then second part needs the chain rule to solve it, using the chain rule to solve this part (1 - p)^3 which becomes 3(1-p)^2 * (d/dp(1- p) or after simplification -1)

i hope it makes sense, first product rule second chain rule and then simplification

let me know it works like.
