Submission failing with “An unexpected error occurred” despite all tests passing (Exercises 1 & 2)

I’ve completed Exercises 1 and 2 for the Building a Travel & Flight Optimization App assignment.

• All provided unit tests pass successfully in the notebook

• The notebook runs cleanly top-to-bottom with no errors

• I have tried:

  • restarting the kernel

  • getting a fresh copy of the notebook

  • waiting between submission attempts

However, when submitting, I consistently receive the message:

“An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later.”

This appears to be happening before grading begins.
