@community-team, who is the technical lead for this course? (AI Python for Beginners). It isn’t listed on the community resources page.
@empireyoncar I already replied that I’m not too familiar with this case. I thought you had enrolled in this course on Coursera for free by auditing, and that’s why your assignments couldn’t be submitted as only paid users can do that.

Hi Mubsi, how are you? I have good news for everyone who had the problem — I’ve solved it! Here’s a screenshot. There’s an option when you do the Shared, called Mark as complete, in the center at the bottom. This option is blocked by the antivirus. You need to disable it and clear all cookies. In my case, I only cleared the DeepLearning cookie, and the option appeared — I had never seen it before.
How I figured it out: I realized it because I tried to view an IBM certificate in the Edge browser, and it wouldn’t open. So I tried Google Chrome and pasted the link, and it worked perfectly. That meant something in Edge was blocking the certificate. I cleared the cookies, but it still didn’t work. Then I disabled my antivirus (I use NOD32), which was causing the problem — but only with Edge. It doesn’t happen in Google Chrome.
My default browser is Edge. The solution is either:

option 1 Switch to Google Chrome, or

option 2 Disable your antivirus, Disable any security method that might block tracking options or DeepLearning cookies.
Then, clear the DeepLearning cookies and go back to the Shared section with the new cookies installed.

Pop-up and ad-blockers often cause problems with the course user interface.

You can’t imagine the effort I’ve put into trying to solve this. I didn’t give up — that’s what defines me: obedience. I don’t stop until I complete the mission.

I have the same issue but at 97% on the Agentic AI course. I do not use a popup or ad blocker. My browser is Chrome, but the issue replicates on Comet.
