Understanding Theta and e in GloVe

Hi,

In the GloVe video Dr. Ng mentions that e-context and theta-target share symmetric roles in the GloVe algorithm. Can someone explain why this is the case?

As I understand it e-context represents the context and theta-target the target. How are they interchangeable?
