You have not implemented the cost function. What you did was to copy the formulas provided in the hint which are just a part of it.

If you scroll up a bit, you’ll find formula (13). That’s the formula you’ll want to implement here.

𝐽=βˆ’1π‘šβˆ‘π‘–=1π‘š(𝑦(𝑖)log(π‘Ž2)+(1βˆ’π‘¦(𝑖))log(1βˆ’π‘Ž2))
