Hi all! I’m so ready to dive head first into the topic of AI. Currently I’m an MBA student in my first year studying marketing and have enrolled in an AI for Managers course. My professor is great, and we are considering creating a club called Olin AI Bears for next year. I want to learn as much as I can about GenAI, agenticAI, and artificial general intelligence. I want to be an enterpreneurer going forward, if only I could spell entreprenuership correctly!

AGI doesn’t exist yet, and it’s an extremely hot topic as to what the term actually means (other than as a buzz-word to attract investors).

Over the past few years, I’ve noticed that AI has become a key part of MBA programs, transforming marketing, finance, operations, strategy, and entrepreneurship. Now, it’s officially being integrated into the curriculum.
Companies are also leveraging Generative AI & Agentic AI in their business strategies. However, as @TMosh mentioned, AGI doesn’t exist yet, and there’s an ongoing debate surrounding AI regulations that could impact AGI in the future.
