In the attached plots, why are we plotting Log((Cost(w,b)) against W, B and not plotting Cost directly as done in previous exercises showing similar plots?
Why do we have to take the Log of Cost?
The reasons I would think so are because it makes the graph smoother and can fit larger ranges.
Aha! So the log on the graph has been used just for cosmetic reasons.
That makes sense.
