Hello!

Could you help me to understand how the speaker got 5 and -3?
As I understood, it is sizes of vectors u and v but how did the author get this values? Neither the L1 norm nor the L2 norm gives us these result.

u - v is a vector. You can get to that result by doing a component-wise subtraction.
