In the context of a potential emergence of AGI, how might the role of RAG architectures evolve? Is it reasonable to expect AGI to fully replace RAG-based approaches, or will they continue to play an important role in hybrid AI systems?
Honestly I don’t believe in making future predictions especially based AI
So if you asking will AGI completely replace RAG, I don’t know.
But as you know RAG improves knowlledge of an LLM, surely RAG can be used as a building block in an AGI system.
AGI when uses machine to make or understand hypothetically any intellectual task by human, RAG can be used as comparative tool with the RLHF, improvising the AGI ability to perform a task more human-like

why only RAG..? AGI will replace each and everyone…
