Hi everyone,
I’m excited to join the DeepLearning.AI community.
I have around 6 years of experience as a backend engineer, and I also completed my master’s research in deep neural networks. I’m now planning to strengthen my machine learning and AI skills in a more structured way and move closer toward ML/AI engineering roles.
My current learning plan is:
- Start with AI for Everyone
- Then complete the Machine Learning Specialization
- After that, move to the Deep Learning Specialization
I would really appreciate guidance from the community:
- Is this the right learning path for someone with my background?
- What skills should I focus on to transition from backend engineering into ML engineering?
- What kind of projects should I build to create a strong ML portfolio?
- Should I focus more on ML fundamentals, deep learning, MLOps, or production AI systems?
I’m especially interested in learning how to combine my backend engineering experience with machine learning so I can work on real-world AI/ML systems.
Thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions. I’m looking forward to learning from everyone here.
Best regards,
Muhammad Nouman
