Balancing Learning and Landing an Internship in AI (Ha Noi, Vietnam)

I’ve been actively learning AI through DeepLearning.ai, which is an excellent platform for building a strong foundation in AI. Over the past six months, I’ve completed three courses: Mathematics for Machine Learning, Machine Learning Specialization, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) Specialization. Currently, I’m progressing through the third course of the Deep Learning Specialization.

These courses have given me valuable insights, and now I’m eager to apply this knowledge to real-world projects. I’m based in Hanoi, Vietnam, where the job market can be quite challenging. Many positions require advanced skills in topics like NLP and computer vision.

That’s why I’m looking for recommendations on practical projects I can build on my own to improve my portfolio and secure my first internship or job. If you have suggestions or would like to share your experience from your first job or internship, I’d love to hear about it!

Thanks for reading and joining the discussion.

In this discussion, I’m looking to connect with others who are also currently enrolled in the Deep Learning Specialization to share insights, as it’s both a challenging and exciting journey. I’d also love to hear from those who are self-learning AI and have already landed a job, so you can share your experiences with me. Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn, and we can chat more! https://www.linkedin.com/in/quang-nv-ptit/
