I am trying to execute a cell in my notebook, but I keep receiving an error. I have already tried restarting the kernel, fetching the latest version of the assignment, and rebooting the lab, but nothing is working.
all labs were recently updated due to deprecated model by course developer. So to work on the updated notebook, click on the 3 dots on right upper corner, then click on the Restore original version to let your work environment updated to the latest changes.
If issue still persist then let me know, as I would need to update this to staff.
I didn’t see any three dots so I looked up alternate ways to do it. I updated using Help icon on right upper corner. Despite getting the latest version and rebooting, my cell is not working.
Previously I was also stuck with Graded Lab in Module 3 which I have been able to finish now that the files there have been updated. Given that my course expires tomorrow I would really appreciate some help with resolving the issue faster or any guidance on how to extend my deadline if possible. I am at the finishing and would like to not skip any ungraded labs just to meet the deadline.
Thanks @Deepti_Prasad
Thanks, I clicked “Get the latest version” and it worked. However, sometimes it may not work due to high traffic, so you can either execute the cell again or wait and try later until it works. @Seemab_Hassan
You are working on different platforms. So click reboot and Get the latest version. if issue still exist, then delete the assignment file, and then click reboot and get the latest version.
About deadlines in coursera, shouldn’t be issue as you can extend your deadlines. If issue still persist for you then let me know.
I will surely inform the staff but as you know it’s weekend, staff can only look at your issue on Monday.
the sometimes not working is happening because of other reason, for which I already have reported issue yesterday to staff and they can only look on Monday.
@Deepti_Prasad thank you for sharing solutions. I deleted the file, then pressed reboot and finally ‘Get the latest version’. However, generate_with_single_input() is still not working for me.
In the ss, you can see in cell 15 the same function is not working but in cell 16 it is working. It works only for 3-4 cells and for all the rest the error persists.
Finally, regarding the deadline, I am attaching ss. I had financial aid for this course and my access to the course expires tomorrow. It would be very helpful if I could get an extension for 1 week or so, to be able to finish my labs thoroughly.
you have taken course from coursera platform, so about deadline support, you need to contant Learner Help Center. (Probably they can’t do much either too, but raising a ticket their with concerned issue might surely help you)
About that error, i already have informed staff, and they will update it when they look upon on Monday.
together.ai has deprecated a lot of models in the past days resulting in concurrent issues with labs of RAG courses.
Lab assignment 3 to 5 and all ungraded labs are updated now.
You need to Restore original version, to get the updated notebook for people taking course on dlai platform.
for people taking course on coursera, click , click Reboot, and then click get latest version to work on updated notebook.
I also would recommend to first delete the old file, and restore original version, so any cache issue is not encountered when running codes again.
Courses, labs are created with multiple channels, so labs gets affected when any changes.made at one end and can take multiple attempts to resolve issue.
