I can’t for the life of me figure why I get an error for exercise 3. My sum value for “P for sum=5” is accepted but not the 3 before it.
If I understand it, there should be 2 out of 16 for 2|8, 4 out of 16 for 3|7, and 6 out of 16 for 4|6, and yet after doing that simple division I get an error saying it’s not within the 0.01 bounds.
I am also having trouble with this exercise.
I am getting the right answer for sum=5 but not for the others.
How should we interpret 2|8?
Is it calculating the probabilities of the two rolls adding 2 or 8?

Yes, I am having the same issue here - this is a fairly straightforward examination of the probability space - I keyed in the equivalent probability but only got an overall 3/10. Is this to do with my interpretation of 2|8? Is this some sort of conditional probability that I am missing here?
So they are basically asking for P of sum for 2, that happens to be the same as P of sum for 8. I personally think that the description can be more clear.
I submitted the assignment using your advice and got 100%.
