I am getting a loss value of nan. The test function returns : Take a look to the use of the margin variable., but I am unable to find any problem with that or with any other part of the code

It’s against the rules to share your solution code, so please remove it from your post.
But while I peeked at your code, I see you have wrong code for getting scores (first line) and mask_exclude_positives.
You can print out your values and check if you get them right by looking at this picture (taken from this post:
