Hi there. I am having troubles creating the database in the last project of the course. I have seen that there are several students with the same issue and that there is a manually refreshing action from your part. Please help me with this issue with is the only issue i have had to be fair but it is important to be solved soon

Please fill out the lab refresh form and try again after you are notified that the lab has been refreshed. It may take up to 3 working days since it is done manually.
Hey Amir, its been a while since you replied the message, 7 days to be exact, and there is no change in the lab. I have tried to do the lab 4 times now and it is time consuming. Please! let me know what can i do to complete the specialization without still having this issues with the lab

Your lab refresh request has collided with the holiday season. Most DLAI staff are out of the office.
I do not expect much progress until after Jan. 1, when more people will be back in the office.

Since there is no place to fill in the error description, when the terraform apply command is run using transform_job module, it tries to create a Glue Catalogue DB (with this name: de_c4w4a2_transform_db) and this Database is not visible on AWS Glue dashboard/UI. When I try to create a database with the same name through the AWS UI, it indeed says this specific database exists. As mentioned, this database is not visible in the databases list, atleast for this account/user). The secondary point being, with deterministic terraform, shouldnt it āskipā if the db already existed?
@RaghavAsuri you are right; terraform should skip if the database exists. However, this is an issue that have occurred multiple times, and the team are trying to fix it. Thank you for filling out the form. Hopefully, the issue will be resolved after the refresh is done.
Thanks for response @Amir_Zare . Interestingly, even when the name of the transform_db (in the glue.tf) is changed to a slightly different text, say transforms_db, the issue is same. Just in case if this information is useful.

@Amir_Zare . Thank you. I was able to move forward with this lab. However, the Apache Superset doesnt log the user in with admin/admin as the username/password. I could gather from the other topic that this is already a known issue with this lab and I skipped that part of the instructions in the notebook. Thanks again.
