Capstone Project Part 2 - DBT Docker error

Hi, when running the tasks defined in the Airflow DAGs I am getting an error on the Docker tasks for both DAGs:

I eliminated the ipynb checkpoints and uploaded the files again and the tasks failed in the same way. I do not see anyone else having this issue, so I do not know If i did something wrong, but it seems to be somthing with the unix:var that is being used for the DockerOperator and that is not something that is defined by the students.

I had the same error.

@jessica-dlai
i have same error . i hope docker not up in the ec2 instance.

Hello everyone,
You are right. The docker_dbt_command task in the DAG seems to have an issue. I have reported it, and I will inform you as soon as I get any updates regarding this issue.

It doesn’t work to me, when I launched the app for Capstone Project Part 2, it seems to have opened a different graded app item. I’ve had an unpleasant experience with the final part of this course. Could you please assist me.

This thread already has a marked solution.

Perhaps you could follow this active thread:

Hi , I am waiting for some assistance . The Dag job" deftunes_songs_pipeline_dag and the second dag job deftunes_api_pipeline_dag, last part of the assignment both are failing.

Both go to re try and then eventually fail at the task
"docker_dbt_command”,tried today too , but ending up having the same issue .

I tried to check on the forum its mentioned about airflow refresh , but does not seem to be working for me even after refresh of Airflow. Dnt want to have issues taking a month like part one of the assignment

I recommend you start a new thread, because:

  • This topic has been solved.
  • I’m not a mentor for that course.
  • A new thread will attract attention from the course mentors.
