Please how is from public_tests import * useful in executing the convolutional neural network assignment?
That imports functions from a python file in the same directory as the notebook. The name of the file is public_tests.py. If you’d like to examine the contents of that file, click “File → Open” in the notebook and have a look around. There is a topic about this on the FAQ Thread FWIW. Those functions are called later in the notebook and nothing will work without them.
BTW you asked this question in General Discussions. I’ve moved it for you (using the little “edit pencil” on the title) to DLS Course 4, which seems like a more appropriate location.
