Course 1 week 4 assignment - Asking for some quick advice - As we enterred into this course i quickly discovered it to be a breather as most of the coursework was entertaining and clever little exercises in my case utilizing the chrome browser - So this question is on Chrome- It gave me some web gl errors early likely related to canvas in week 2 - I’ve been able to do exercises to this point but not getting the chance to enjoy the results fully and this next one looks like its gonna be even more of a challenge for the new under the hood security in chrome that appears to be evolving - Should i dump chrome completely do a brand new install and will the default settings and latest version be able to perform these assignments - There is a slow burn going on at chromium limiting cross site traffic and that is attemtpting to slow malicious activity down and that can also slow down creators and coders alike -i have set dev tools to default at this point - but there was an issue related to cors more than code from the get-go and chrome is still doing its best to block jsdelivr -im looking into "life after 3rd party cookies as there seem to be some code yourself remedies -to let chrome know its u on both sides "

so i came across a discourse between chris Fand deepti_p and i was able to employ the workaround to use terminal to file then create. local host with the output and succesfully run everything up to but not the final assignment - as that dicussion was in aug ['23 if since then we have discovred a way to go from brackets or vs code directly to chrome id welcome that but thank u for the “end run” i seem to learn more on these problems than i do when it goes easily that was quite and adventure between dev tools in chrome and the pseudo-back door entry or map pointing from terminal thanks for the tip

not sure if anyone but me was facing his issue it seemed to plague a lot of learners but i’m taking the course a bit down the road -Anyway in Chrome i entered into chrome:flags from browser then enabled #unsafely-treat-insecure-origin-as-secure then entered https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@tensorflow/tfjs@latest ’ in the text box and i am able to run all the assignments from either vs code or brackets straight editor to Chrome - i did a bit of tweaking in “dev tools” in that scary experimental land but braved my way to squaring the webgl issue i i encountered first so thats the full solve - hope it saves someone some time

now that i opened my mouth about this- i don’t want to lead any neophytes down a road they can’t get back from - this chrome set up works beautifully in tandem with vs code for web browser js code projects -and i just brought the last assignment home- but i noticed the browser lags now for more conventional use -so i would recommend using this is in developer mode but unticking that and our two adjustments and think of it as a config specifically for these applications and if u want to do more of them -
