DLS 2 Week 1 - general feedback

Week 1 felt like a long week. Though video lecture lengths were mostly in 6min-9min range - the content was substantial.

IMHO - It might be useful to have more intermediate quizzes – there are three different topics and each introduces new technical ideas/tools. A purpose of a quiz is also to reinforce learning not just test and score. Also given the density of content, a quiz after each of the three topics would also create a sense of ongoing progress.

Regards.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, C2 W1 is “action packed” with lots of consequential information and different topics. It is an interesting idea to consider having more quizzes that are separated by topic area. Note that they did already use that approach with the assignments for Week 1: there are three completely independent programming assignments covering different topics.
