DLS Course - Derivative dL/dz

Shouldn’t the entire right side be multiplied by (1/ln 10)? Calculus rule for
log x = 1/(x * ln 10) - so where did the 1/(ln 10) go?

Thank you!

Hi @Svetlana_Verthein,

Please note in the Courses, as mentioned by Andrew multiple times, and for future purposes, log = ln

So basically, don’t read it as log(a) or log(1-a), it is ln(a) and ln(1-a)

Hope this clarifies things,
Mubsi

Oh, yes, I remember Dr. Ng mentioned it.
Thank you!
