Do courses in university such as MSAI will help learining and implementing in the field?

I’m working at IT department in manufacturing company.
Just working with IT opearion, not AI stuff.
I’m interested in AI field, because I think lots of our lives will become better owing to AI, meanning that lots of business opportunity will be here in AI (In lecture $13trillion by 2030).
Do courses in university such as MSAI will help learining AI and implementing in the field?
I would probably have to spend time and money.
Besides I’m pretty much old (44years old)

Whether you need university courses depends on what you want to do.

  • If you want to create new AI methods, maybe ‘Yes’.
  • If you want to use AI methods to solve specific problems, then experience is more important than university training. Certainly you need training and experience, but there are many places to get that.
