I deleted the initial sequence for the code provided hence I’m constantly getting error messages and unable to clear the grade even though I had done the other 4. Whatever code I’m typing is apparently wrong and I can’t seem to find a way to restart the test.
Can I even retake the assignment? Because I don’t see any option as such to start from scratch and I can’t believe I’ll miss out my certificate because of one exercise. And I don’t even understant what am I doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated. And if someone knows the support center email do drop by.
Since you’re on Coursera, you can probably use the “get a fresh copy of the lab and start over” process.
Here is the step-by-step:
Go to the File menu, press Open, then delete your notebook ipynb file (click on the checkbox next to that file name, and a trash-can icon will appear in the command bar).
Then go back to the lab, and use the “Lab Help” tool (it’s a question-mark inside a circle, in the upper right corner of your browser).
Click on it, and you will see “Get latest version”. Click on that.
Then exit the lab, and then re-enter the lab from the course link.
That should give you a fresh copy of the assignment, and you can start over.
Please post back if this works, I am not a mentor for that course, so I haven’t tried this on that course. But that method works on all other Coursera assignments that use Jupyter Notebooks.
Hello, yes it worked. The only difference is that I selected Shutdown against my respective file and then an err 404 occurred and I went to to help sign to download the latest version and got the assignment back to the original condition. However, I’m still unable to solve it.

I think it was a mix bag of solutions. Shutting and deleting the assignment followed by getting it’s latest version helped it and making sure I had run every cell, I think since I wrote the code as I had written it before.
