I am an experienced policy maker who is currently looking for a new job. I am very interested in the positive possibilities for AI to improve government policy outcomes and how we ensure AI is fair and equitable. Any tips to navigate all this information is most welcome! David.
In my opinion, yes, you can use AI to import policies that may have been used in other countries and proved to be efficient, and you can also ask AI to produce variations or other combinations of those.
Ultimately, you need to check AI’s production so that it makes sense from a human perspective. There is a scene in a 90s movie (I forgot the name) that says, “…humans seem to be the only species in the Universe that cannot tell right from wrong…”
Use your human understanding and ‘judgment” to make sense of AI’s produce.
