Hey All- Help Needed: Building AI Expertise for Responsible Innovation

Hi All

Great to join the community. I’ve just finished the “Python for Beginners” course and am very keen to continue learning. I’m based in the UK, working as a Delivery Manager, and passionate about responsibly using AI, especially Large Language Models (LLMs), to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)’ operations and way of working.

I’ve realised I need to dive deeper into AI, particularly how LLMs really work, so I can guide SMEs in making smart, ethical decisions. I have basic Python skills, understand the basics of LLMs, and use AI tools regularly.

Quick question: Could anyone recommend practical next steps or resources to deepen my understanding of AI and LLMs?

Thanks a lot and looking forward to your suggestions.

I also recommend you search through the DLAI “Short Course” catalog, it covers a lot of the current crop of generative AI tools.

The Short Courses have a topic list in the left-side menu.

Hi Tom

Thanks for the tip. I will look for “short courses” too at the DLAI. I really liked the Python for Beginners short course.

Cheers,
