Hello, how to launch Claude Code in the VS Code terminal?
@azizgueye4 did you install Claude code by running this command:
npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code
If so, then try to open VS Code and in the terminal within VS Code, type Claude. You can check the troubleshooting here.
What operating system do you have?
I arrived to this point
Claude Code can now be used with your Claude subscription or billed based on API usage through your Console account.
Select login method:
1. Claude account with subscription
Starting at $20/mo for Pro, $100/mo for Max - Best value, predictable pricing
2. Anthropic Console accountAPI usage billing
Have I to pay to learn and try courses examples ? Or are there free plans ?
I presume that we have to subscribe to the coding agent in order to complete this course.
Since it has been several days and we have not had any response here, I’ll just presume that is correct. I’ll let you know. Obviously, this will be a hot topic amongst the students.
Also, you have to consider if it is worth the 20 bucks a month? How good is this coding assistant? Has anyone used it yet that can tell us more about the Code Assistant?
I don’t know the specifics of this course.
In general:
The DL.AI short courses typically include a license (which works in the background) sufficient to complete the short course. No additional fee is necessary.
If you try to go beyond the DL.AI learning platform and branch off on your own, then you need to provide your own license.
Ok quick update and answers to some of my questions posed above.

I am about half way through the course and it does appear you have to have some type of Claude paid account to utilize and the run materials.

Is ClaudeCode worth it? Oh man. I don’t want to be hyperbolic or use obscure adjectives, but Wow! If you have not checked it out, the $20 is certainly worth it to see it in action. Trust me, I am still wrapping my head around all the possibilities.
Have fun!
