I am new to AI. I was as IT consultant based in UK and had to take a break due to health reasons. Now finding job market has changed, not sure if this is due to the AI that I am outclassed. I’m trying to restart my second stint in AI. Though AI is vast subject with so much information and demand on skills to vast. I see the job requirment of AI engineer requesting many skill including cloud, kafka and so many more which I dont have and also feel like this will not help to convert into oppurtuntiy and can be demotivating.
I doing courses on coursera and Deep Learning.ai to build my understanding.
I have some programming experience though I find the packages for AI are quite complex and I wanted to how do other python developer remeber the packages and function within + small details of parameters which going wrong might break the model for example in case of matrix multiplication.
I would appreciate if I can be advised on study group so I can express some of the challenges I face and possibly ask some of the question which hopefully will be answered evnthough not very intellectual. Hopefully i can draw on group energy to keep motivated
Is there a project than a beginner can build to learn AI.
Also I am using chatgpt API but I only allowed to use chatgpt-4o-mini. I am just doing basic prompting though am clueless as to what should be my next steps is there a beginner project that i can pursue with learner group so I dont get demotivated working alone on the feild
I have completed few course on deeplearning including the python for begineer. I have some experience of coding for writing script for integeration.
I have done python course by google on coursera.
If you found a course to better when you started that you can recommend that would much appreciated and possible help other on forum like me for faster traction.

I find AI has helped me mine specialised info which would require specialisation
I used windsurf to write phtyon code recently which I liked as I find that it take me long time and I used to take me way longer similar code with that level of code quality.Also helpe me debug enviornmental issue which would take me so that I used to give up.
So i guess I am intereted in AI chat bots like winsurf and AI generated material but I am not able to make mind and idea to build. I also tried to invoke the open AI api from python with prompts but though I am out of idea what more can I do with it.
If there a group of people on some group of AI begineer who join on discord I would feel I might be able find if I am facing similar issue and find how they overcome the challenges yet keep motivated chug along.

I took the courseraplus subscription for 43£ thinking this might cover the course but when try machine learning specialization courseara gain prompt me for 35£/month. Are each of deeplearning.ai courses on coursera priced 35£ each on coursera instead of monthly subscription which different from courseraplus.
Unfortunalty, there is no phone or contact email on coursera other than chat bot which does not hand over the chat to human.

DeepLearning.AI does not participate in the Coursera Plus subscription. All DeepLearning.AI courses or specializations on Coursera have individual fees.
