Labs 1 and 2 are still locked for me; Lab 3 is unlocked (lab 3 is the only one I have never attempted before). I tried in both private Safari window, private Chrome window, and clearing the cache to no luck.
I still happened to have the workbench tab open from when I was trying to get through Lab 2 yesterday (I have bad habit of leaving tabs open ), and was able to launch the lab from there and successfully complete + submit it. Could be a workaround if others are facing the same issue, and happen to still have the tab open!
Thanks Chris. As mentioned earlier, Lab 1 and Lab 2 are currently locked while Lab 3 is not. This is the case for any browser.

When I hover above the lab module from the left pane, it says “This item is locked while the course staff update the content”
Yes even I see the same for week 2 lab & week 1 it says temporarily locked.
Hi everyone. Can you try the Week 1 lab now (will try this in Week 2 if Week 1 works), and let me know if you see a different message? No news from Coursera yet but we’re trying something out. Also, please make sure that the previous video is marked as completed (should show a green check mark) before going to this lab. As usual, please try clearing the cache/using Incognito or another browser first. Thanks!
Hi Chris, thank you for looking into this issue! I have the same problem of locked access to Lab 2. I’ve tried clearing cache, using Incognito and another browser without success.
Lab 1 also has the same message (This item is locked while the course staff update the content. It will be unlocked soon.)

Got this message for Lab 1 now.
For Lab 2 - the locked message is “This item is locked while the course staff update the content. It will be unlocked soon.”
Have tried clear the cache, use a different device and browser.
