Hello there, I am new to coursera and deeplearning.ai. I have 5+ years of experience in ETL and planning to switch to cloud systems. Has anyone benefited from the Data Engineering Certificate from career point of view? Or is there any job assistance provided?
I haven’t taken up the certificate you’re asking about.
Both platforms don’t provide direct job assistance. Some course providers allow access to their interview preparation portal upon completing the content.
If your 5+ experience in ETL is current and the work experience covers the content covered in the specialization extensively, you don’t need the certificate.
If that’s not the case, completing the certificate will allow you to add projects / skills to the resume that’ll help with switching jobs.
