Jupyter - How to include a command (e.g. print ()) to check a routine works

Trying to do work on “C1_W2_Linear_Regression” on the Jupyter notebook. I am trying to include a “print (total_cost)” to check that my routine works, but
when running the code, nothing seems to happen. No error response. Just nothing appears on the notebook below the coding zone.

Please post a screen capture image that shows where you added the print() statement, and what part of the notebook you’re working on.

One important thing to note is that just typing new code in a function cell and then calling the function again does nothing: it just runs the old code again. You need to click “Shift-Enter” on the cell you changed to get the new code added to the runtime image.
