Hello, friends! I have just joined this community and would appreciate it if anyone could help me create a roadmap!
I’m a master’s degree freshman student in the field of artificial intelligence and I have wanted to pursue my studies and get my Ph.D. in this field since I was working in digital marketing I don’t have a programming and mathematics background and I have decided to work on my skills, I have finished the Supervised machine learning course and enrolled for the advance learning algorithms, I’m very interested about neural networks and the relation between the AI and human brain, so does anyone have any suggestions for me? I don’t exactly know what kind of skill set do i need and looking for a roadmap
thanks!

Thank you very much for your Help! i appreciate it
Hello @Alireza217, I have an MA in linguistics with a focus on Computational Linguistics rec’d in 2014 from SJSU. For the coursework there, we used Dan Jurafsky’s book “Speech and Language Processing” (2nd edition). Dr. Jurafsky has been working on the 3rd edition of this excellent textbook for several years now. You can find PDFs of drafts (thru 7-Jan-2023) on his Stanford webpage for Speech and Language Processing 3rd edition. Although the title focuses on NLP, you will find chapters on neural networks, vector semantics, machine translation. In my personal opinion, the table of contents from Jurafsky’s 3rd edition provides a nice roadmap of topics. I hope this helps, and best of luck as you pursue your goals!
