Hi all,
I’m looking for a technical co-founder to build an AI-native EPC company, starting with data center infrastructure.
My background:
Power systems engineer. Battery manufacturing scale-up at a major EV company, electrochemical plant design at a green hydrogen startup, currently deploying multi-gigawatt data centers. Not an AI/ML expert, but I understand the domain deeply and have validated the problem through extensive customer discovery.
The problem:
EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) is brutally inefficient. Projects take 10 to 12 months, require manual coordination across 15+ disciplines, and only 0.5% finish on time/budget. Traditional EPCs bill hourly, so they have no incentive to move faster.
The thesis:
Don’t build software for EPCs. Be the EPC, but use AI internally to deliver 10x faster. The AI is the competitive moat, not a product to sell.
The technical approach:
-
LLM orchestration integrated with engineering tools (AutoCAD, Revit, electrical modeling) via MCP and similar protocols
-
Agentic systems that coordinate across disciplines, check constraints, propagate changes
-
Productized parametric designs that generate bankable deliverables in weeks
This is about applying agentic AI to complex, multi-step workflows with real physical constraints. Not another chatbot.
What I’m looking for:
Someone with hands-on experience building agentic systems and LLM tool integrations. Equal equity, true co-founder partnership. I bring domain expertise and customer relationships. You bring the technical ability to build the AI layer.
If you’re interested in applying what you’ve learned to a massive infrastructure problem, I’d love to chat.
