Quick question for you guys, from your perspective, which courses should I take from deeplearning.io, that would be the equivalent of getting a Machine Learning Master degree?
This is my plan:
Machine Learning Specialization
TensorFlow Developer Professional Certificate
Deep Learning Specialization
TensorFlow: Data and Deployment Specialization
Machine Learning Enginering for Production Specialization
Do you think this should be enough or should I take more or less courses/specialization?
I think the big advantage of these courses is the understanding of the subject and the skills acquired.
However! If you are talking about the job market there is something more - when recruiters look for candidates, they check keywords and experience or certifications that can prove it. In my opinion at least certifications help with this first phase - to be found or pass screening.
One additional thing - under this post I suggested that it may sense to have a look on existing AI job offers and check what is listed there. What kind of required skills and knowledge.
I learned machine learning from Stanford University online, and I completed my computer science and engineering degree last year. I am living in India. I am looking for opportunities as a fresher to work as an AI engineer.
Can you help me find a company that is looking for fresher?
this is my linkedIn profile : https://www.linkedin.com/in/jayambe/
Hello @jayambe36 - I have a look on your profile and looks very good in my opinion. As I see you also trying with Upwork as a freelancer - sounds reasonable for me.
Under links which I shared on my previous post you can find some offers however not that many at the moment. Maybe another interesting idea for you would be to have a look on Kaggle Competitions
On YouTube there are even videos with the suggestions what would best strategies to pick and finish these competitions.

The courses you listed a very important for building skills. However, completing a course on deeplearning.ai is not the same as getting a certification. From the courses you listed, I didn’t see the mathmatics specialization for machine learning and data science. You will certainly need to show mastery of mathmatics, including linear algebra, calculus, statistics and probability.
For example, TensorFlow offers a certification that is considered valuable. However, I just noticed that they are shutting down the exam soon and the last day to purchase the certification is April 30. It looks like they are going to relaunch the program at some point.
Another certification you may consider is a nanodegree with Udacity. If you search reviews for online courses, you’ll see there’s consensus that udacity programs are high quality.
Accenture just announced that their intention to acquire Udacity for $1 billion and will start offering AI training courses to corporates.
Microsoft and AWS also offer certifications for machine learning that are valuable.
