Enrolled in MLS. Started week 2 in in MLS1. Found Optional lab a bit difficult. Wanted to know if we are supposed to memorise all the libraries mentioned in the labs. Because when I go through the code, I understand more or less. But if I were given a blank notebook, I would not be able to even mention all the libraries nor would I be able to write code end to end. I’m an absolute beginner in coding and ML. Just wanted to understand if we are expected to know the end to end coding by the end of specialisation?

Absolutely not. These courses do not ask you to memorize all the libraries and know how to code end-to-end. Knowing the concepts, experiencing through how we apply the concepts in code, and following labs’ instructions and understanding all of its text descriptions are more important.
When I first learned Neural Network, taking the deep learning specialization did not make me proficient in coding a machine learning project, only actual works helped.
