Need guidance: What course should I take next after this Python + AI course?

Hello everyone,

I am currently doing this Python + AI course and I am really enjoying it. I want some guidance from the community about what I should learn next after completing this course.

My goal is to advance my knowledge of Python in the context of AI and build stronger practical skills step by step. I would appreciate your suggestions on the next best course, topic, or learning path after this one.

Should I move toward:

  • intermediate/advanced Python

  • machine learning

  • deep learning

  • AI project building

  • data analysis for AI

I would really appreciate advice from people who have already followed a good learning path.

Thank you in advance.

Hey There! :waving_hand:

In my opinion, diving deeper into python is the least optimal option as it will not benefit your AI skills directly. You’re likely to benefit a lot more if you went more into the AI side of things. And for that you have two main approaches: If you think your AI theoretical knowledge is enough, then get your hands dirty by starting on AI projects (plenty of short courses are available for that but Build With Andrew might be your most general one). On the other hand, if you feel like you haven’t grasped the theory well enough just yet, then Machine Learning Specialisation and/or Deep Learning Specialisation will fill that gap in no time. They might seem long but I genuinely enjoyed them while taking them so time passed by quickly.

I hope that helps and let me know if you need anything else, Best of luck!

Kind Regards,

Hey!

I recommend that you take the machine learning course. This course will require you to program in Python, and you may also learn new functionalities and packages during the homework.

Regards.

Which one specifically?
